Set list information
I was listening to the stream of this show and I'm pretty sure the song listed as "Buddha Monkey Jam" shows up on on of Jason's live CD's (Live at Checkers) as "Wish You Would", in which Guitarski rips out a full line of Jeff Beck's "You Know What I Mean" from Blow by Blow, which goes into "Get Up, Stand Up" and then the Middle Eastern Jam feat. Turkish Coffee. Great sounding recording, makes me wanna go track Jason down tonight....if you have a chance, DO NOT MISS HIM LIVE.

Great, Diverse Show
Thanks to Jerry for recording and to Garry for posting this great show. Jason Ricci is known for mixing up a lot of musical styles in his live performances, but with guests Chris Michalek and Michael Rubin sitting in on this night, it was even less predictable than usual. There's a lot of funk and reggae from the Buddha (Rubin got into too on "Cissy Strut"), and Jason's recent additions to the lineup include more pop ("I'm a New Man" and Lou Reed's "Take a Walk on the Wild Side") and even psychedelic jazz/punk with "Rocket Number Nine". A warning to downloaders: you might want to skip over Michael Rubin's "Twelve Keys" exercise. Michael himself admitted later that the tempo was far too slow. His comedic original, "Beer Belly Baby", is a lot more fun.
